Our Service provides real-time, community-powered updates about off-leash dog parks in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and surrounding areas.

• Email address (when signing up for early access or the Founding Pack Contest)

• Name (optional, when completing the early access form)

• Dog's name and breed (optional, for community check-in features)

• Device type and operating system (for app compatibility)

• General location data (city/region level only, to show relevant parks — we do NOT collect precise GPS coordinates without explicit consent)

• App usage data (pages visited, features used) for improving the Service

• IP address (for security and fraud prevention)

Information we do NOT collect:

• We do not collect your precise real-time GPS location without your explicit in-app consent

• We do not collect payment information (the app is currently free)

• We do not collect sensitive personal information (health, financial, or biometric data)

We use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected:

• Early access list: To notify you when Dog Park Now launches and to contact you about the Founding Pack Contest

• Contest administration: To select winners, notify them, and administer prizes

• App functionality: To enable community check-ins and show real-time park conditions

• Service improvement: To understand how users interact with our app and website

• Communications: To send you updates about Dog Park Now (you may unsubscribe at any time)

• Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations

By submitting your email address through our early access form or contest entry, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

• Contest entries: Retained for 12 months after the contest draw date (April 30, 2026) for audit purposes, then securely deleted

• App usage data: Aggregated and anonymized after 24 months

• Legal obligations: Some information may be retained longer if required by law

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see Section 9).
